Volunteer with halow!
halow supports young adults aged 16+ with a learning disability to live independent lives and become more involved in their local community. We rely on our team of volunteers who build relationships with the young people we support to engage them in a wide range of activities. We treat our volunteers with the utmost respect as they are valued members of our team and play a critical role to our success and future.
There is no minimum time constraint, all we ask is a commitment from volunteers. So, whether you can help once a week, once a month or three times a year, volunteers are essential to us.
Our social activity volunteers help with the many leisure activities organised for halow's young people. These activities are based around the interests of the young people such as bowling, theatre trips or having a boogie at a disco.
Although our offices are based in Guildford, we welcome volunteers from various places, as opportunities for their support arise all over Surrey. They are not expected to come to us with any previous experience; all we ask for is commitment and a willingness to work with our young people.
