Charity Concierge - Download, Latitude, Camp Bestival, Electric Picnic

What You'll Do:

Get a free ticket to a great festival, fundraise for Child.org, and develop your professional and interpersonal skills. Become a Charity Concierge.

In 2020, Charity Concierge are thrilled to be taking teams of volunteers to Download, Camp Bestival, Latitude and Electric Picnic. Depending on the festival, you can volunteer on:

The Charity Concierge buggy service. Working as either a buggy driver or taxi ground crew member, you make sure festival-goers can hitch a lift from point A to point B and get where they need to go a little easier. At some festivals, we run the buggy service exclusively for the access campsite to make sure everyone can enjoy the festival as much as possible.
The Charity Concierge fast-track drinks service. The nomads of the arena, our general services volunteers take drinks orders from festival-goers, collect them using our fast-track lane at the bar, and deliver them to their customers. It's the service we've all wanted at a festival - to get more drinks and be able to keep our spot in the crowd - and our volunteers are the heroes that deliver it.
Tent pitching. A smaller part of the volunteer role, but just as vital. Charity Concierges (provided with a little bit of training) jump in to rescue festival-goers tied up in a tent pretzel (or the grips of desperation).

In addition to a free ticket to the festival, you will get plenty of time off to enjoy yourself. You can sign up as an individual and meet other brilliant volunteers on site, or sign up as a group with friends and family. And the best part? All of the donations earned through your hard work will go directly to Child.org, an innovative international development charity pioneering novel global health initiatives and working with mums and children in Kenya and Sierra Leone to improve the health of children in places it's most needed. Plus, you'll get the opportunity to list a unique volunteer experience on your CV and develop skills in communication, teamwork, sales, fundraising, and problem-solving. We even offer team leader positions for anyone looking to gain some leadership experience!
