What You'll Do: 

This voluntary role offers an exceptional opportunity for any university of Surrey student to participate in a unique form of mentorship. As a Reverse Mentor for a Lay Member of the University Council, you will engage in an innovative and mutually beneficial relationship where you, as a student, will impart your perspectives, experiences, and insights to a member of the University Council. This role aims to bridge generational and experiential gaps, fostering a dynamic exchange of knowledge, ideas, and perspectives. This can be done at your flexibility .

 

The University Council is the governing body of the University. It meets formally four times per year and is responsible for the finances, administration, property, management and, subject to the powers of the Senate, has general control over the affairs of the University.
