Challengers is charity with an excellent reputation delivering Play and Leisure to over 1400 disabled children and young people across Surrey, Hampshire, West Sussex and Berkshire.
At Challengers, disabled children and young people play, relax, make friends and truly feel that they belong. At the same time, families with disabled children can use these short breaks to pursue ‘ordinary’ activities such as shopping or spending time with family and friends.
An ability to provide suitable care for disabled children and young people whatever their impairment with appropriate knowledge, skill, competence, initiative and sensitivity.
We never exclude a child on the grounds of the severity of their impairment and we do not set geographical limits - play and leisure opportunities for disabled young people are few and disabled people seldom have a local resource.
