Established in 1999 by Sport England and local partners, Active Surrey is a not for profit organisation, hosted by Surrey County Council. We continue to be commissioned by Sport England and local partners to increase participation rates for the people and places of Surrey where the need is greatest.
WHY OUR WORK MATTERS:
We empower people to realise the benefits of a more active lifestyle by influencing systems, removing barriers and creating opportunities for moving more. Working with partners we enable people to benefit from the life-changing impact of physical activity - from improved wellbeing or developing new skills to maintaining a healthy weight or simply having fun!
