Mental Health Workshop Facilitator

What You'll Do: 

Would you like to help young people aged 16 to 18 by delivering mental health education to increase awareness, reduce stigma, and improve access to support?

 

Are you studying psychology, have lived experience of mental health issues, or have a professional/personal interest in the mental health of young people?

 

You will be co-delivering a 3-week programme of mental health workshops by facilitating small group discussions​ and signposting students to appropriate support as needed.

 

You must be available on all of the following dates from 11:30am to 1:30pm: Wednesday 12 June, Wednesday 19 June, and Wednesday 26 June2024, and be able to travel to Guildford County School, Farnham Road, Guildford, GU2 4LU. There will also be induction and feedback online sessions before and after  the programme, lasting about one hour each.

 

​A DBS check is required for this role. These fees, and travel expenses within Surrey will be covered by the charity.
