Most 'Super Angels' applications come from students who have previously been 'Angels' and say how they were helped moving in by other freshers angels; so it really is such a special experience and can start to shape your time here at the University of Surrey!
Being a Super Angel is such an important role. Not only do you gain a shed ton of free food you gain transferable management and leadership life skills that make you more employable; you are responsible for the biggest voluntary activity in our year!
Welcome Weekend is the moment when thousands of new students join us at Surrey, arriving with cars full of luggage and saying their farewells to family members. The Students' Union provides a team of 350 volunteer 'Super Angels' who manahge their 'Freshers Angels Army' who are the smiling faces greeting brand new students for the first time. Freshers' Angels help students to move into their rooms and settle in during their first few hours of being a student - when help is needed most!
